Peter Williams is an architect and social entrepreneur that has worked on building projects on 5 continents and has taught at universities around the world. In 2006, Peter founded ARCHIVE Global, a not-for-profit organization that works to fight preventable disease in low income communities worldwide through sustainable architecture and design. He holds two Master’s degrees in Architecture and African Studies from Columbia University and The University of Oxford, respectively. Alongside other accomplishments, Peter was named among the 22 best emerging social entrepreneurs in the world by Echoing Green, was recognized as one of London’s ‘40 under 40 International Development Leaders’ by Devex, and was named by Utne Reader among the ‘25 visionaries who are changing the world’. Peter is delighted to be speaking at his alma mater, CCNY, where he acquired a bachelor’s degree of Architecture in 2002.
